Chicago style pizza is pretty great, don't get me wrong... However, the "Windy City" has nothing on Detroit when it comes to pizza - and Jet's does it best. Originally made in square part trays from the factory workers, this unique style of pizza creates a crispy, buttery edge with a soft interior that makes for an amazing combination of textures and flavors that you won't find in any other pizza.

I really love Jet's. Jet's bread is delicious and one of the things I missed when I didn't live in the Midwest. When I'm really tired and don't want to go anywhere, Jet's is my go-to, but I didn't have a great experience this last time. As a minor criticism of the website, there is no place to enter coupon codes when checking out, which kind of sucks. I rolled the dice by trying to put a note in the delivery instructions, but it didn't work. As for my experience with this location, I had ordered food to be delivered and when it came they left out the sauces I had ordered (you pay extra for them). I drove to the store to get them and the person behind the counter gave them to me without a problem with neither an apologetic tone nor a rude one. I have no problem there. BUT What did I just pay $6 for? I could have saved delivery plus a tip and picked up the pizza myself. It would have been nice if they at least offered to refund my delivery charge. I will most likely eat at Jet's again, but probably not from this location. Bummer.

Monday, 5/5 The pizzas I ordered for pick up was 15 minutes. I waited 22 minutes after the time given. The manager young women was on the phone for additional 5 minutes. I asked why my order was not ready and was told a $500 order was pushed up for early delivery and my order was pushed back. No one called me about the delay. This store is an L shape shop and the people disappear behind the L. The manager told me that, she didn't know who took the order, but their is only four people behind the counter. The Manager returned my money, the pizzas was good as always but the service sucks.

We ordered a 4-square pepperoni pizza with the parmesan turbo crust and it was crispy and awesome. The pizza was soft and perfectly chewy. I like my pizza with lots of sauce and Jets delivered. The downside? I had to bring up the special price for our order as the clerk originally charged the full price.

As far as delivery pizza goes, Jet's is good. In our area there is not much better.

This pizza is really pretty good, and it is super close to home. There have been very few times when something was wrong with my order, and they have always gone above and beyond to fix it. Additionally, they offer good coupons and support the local school district. I cannot however give a perfect review as twice in this past summer I have seen the owner NOT return his cart to the cart corral or back into the adjacent grocery store. This man stands out in the community as a business owner. His behavior is inductive of his business. I cannot give a perfect rating to one one I know to cut corners, and be rude.

Easy, quick, reliable: Jet's is a fave from my days as a Detroiter and I still love it. Particularly delicious is their 8 Corner Pizza, for those of us that avoid those inner, edge-less slices like the plague (or feed them to our unsuspecting children.) The EGR Gaslight Village location serves up quality, consistency, and quick delivery; nothing fancy, just good pizza. Jet's has an excellent deep dish square with a slightly sweet sauce that hits the spot every time. Prices are comparable to other similar chains and they are generous with coupons and other deals.

Hands down my favorite pizza in Grand Rapids and I dare say it's as good as or better than Lou Malnati's in Chicago (my fav Chicago pizza place). But this review isn't about Chicago places. It's about how amazing Jet's is. Jet's has a super deep crust and quality cheeses and meats. I force everyone in the office to get this pizza when we order in and it's what I get when I usually order out at home. I find my language skills are lacking when it comes to talking about pizza in detail but trust me, it's d*mn fine pizza. Service is always good from all the Jet's I've ordered from, and this location is no exception. It's a bit pricier than other options in the area but totally worth it.
